Producer: It came to Delta’s attention that not enough people were taking advantage of their summer Fridays, so they created “Go Fridays” and basically forced the issue… by surprising several offices with free flights for several of their unknowing employees. This was my first foray into the magical world of stunts, and its really hard not to feel a little bit like a giggly schoolgirl with a secret as we scouted offices (and people) for a “documentary.”
We planted tickets in pizza boxes for late night workers, we took over conference rooms at Thrillist.. Philly K and JP Bouchard directed this surprise and delight campaign and helped keep the secret safe and the reactions genuine. Its a new world, “hey clients, we don’t know if we’ll actually GET anything you can use on this shoot…..they might be like.. “meh” for all we know, ‘sat cool?”
